A Little About FocusSteps ๐Ÿ’›

Created by a mom who got tired of watching learning time turn into a battle.

FocusSteps was started by Maya, a mom who wanted to help her child focus without relying on another screen.

Like a lot of parents, she tried everything. Random worksheets from the internet, learning apps, activity books, reward charts, quiet time routines. Some things worked for a day or two, but most of them either felt too boring, too hard to follow, or ended with her child saying, โ€œI donโ€™t want to do this.โ€

What frustrated her most was that her child was not lazy.

He just needed activities that felt simple, playful, and clear enough to finish without getting overwhelmed.

After searching through hundreds of pages online, Maya realized the problem was not that parents did not care. The problem was that most resources were scattered everywhere. One page for matching, one page for tracing, one page for focus, one page for memory, and nothing felt organized enough to become a real routine.

So she started creating her own little activity folder at home.

Short focus games.

Simple memory activities.

Mazes, matching pages, patterns, problem-solving tasks, and playful exercises that helped her child slow down, think, and actually stay with the page.

No pressure.

No long lessons.

No complicated setup.

Just a few calm pages at the kitchen table.

Over time, those small activities became part of their routine. Her child started finishing more pages, asking for certain games again, and feeling proud instead of frustrated.

That folder became the idea behind FocusSteps.

FocusSteps was made for parents who want less screen time, calmer learning moments, and activities their kids will actually enjoy doing.

Every page is designed to help children practice focus, attention, memory, confidence, and problem-solving in a way that feels more like play than homework.

Because sometimes kids do not need more pressure.

They just need the right first step.
